Open Dialogue is designed to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and ideas.

It helps you rethink your stress factors and cultivate wellbeing through greater self-awareness.

Although the program is not human, it is evolving.

The more you interact with it, the more it will tailor itself to your specific stress factors and concerns.

Everyone experiences stress to some degree.

Stress can arise from difficulties in interpersonal relationships, career frustrations, loss of loved ones or other personal factors.

Stress is commonly described as feeling frustrated, anxious, worried, dejected, disappointed, depressed, bummed out, burnt out, down in the dumps, moody, gloomy, guilty, sad, lethargic, de-motivated, stressed out, trapped, stuck, lonely, resentful, angry, self-loathing, fearful, exhausted, overwhelmed, uncertain.

For the purposes of this program we will cluster these conditions of non-wellbeing under the general term "stress" or "stress factors".

Through repeated use and practice with Open Dialogue, you will come to a deeper understanding of your own particular stress factors, and develop a greater sense of mastery in order to better manage them.

Mastery is commonly described as feeling confident, clear, motivated, mindful, peaceful, calm, autonomous, excited, enriched, purposeful, integrated, aligned, engaged, present.

Along the way, keep in mind that Open Dialogue is a machine, a tool, a resource for your own self-reflection.

It's deceptively simple.

But don't let that be a barrier to you experimenting with it and exploring it's capabilities.

As you continue to use it, it will become a more refined, astute and intelligent companion.

Keep going and you'll be pleasantly surprised and astonished at how accurate and precise its responses (and, in turn, your own thinking) become.

The program is most effective if you can do your best to be relaxed, curious and non-judgemental in your reflections.

If you think it has misunderstood you, simply rephrase yourself or write "change subject" in the message box. Also feel free to comment on the mistake it made and continue on.

Over time you will learn how to work most productively with the program.
